Industrial action on 29 January suspended: all blood donation sessions running as usual

You may have seen in the national news that the industrial action planned across the NHS in England on 29 January has been suspended. This means that all blood donation sessions on this day will be running as usual.

Where we had cancelled some of our sessions, we are working hard to reinstate them. Even if your appointment was cancelled earlier this week, please do attend at what was your appointment time on 29 January, if you are still able to. Your support for blood donation is essential in saving and improving the lives of patients.

We will be running the reinstated sessions primarily as walk-in sessions. Attending at your original appointment time will help with the smooth running of the session. We will do our very best to ensure you are seen as quickly as possible after your arrival, but please do bear with us.
