Where to park

Due to changes by the hospital trust, we have several car parking options for donors:

Accessibility

The building is fully wheelchair accessible with street level access on the ground floor. There is a slight slope to the entrance which has automatic double doors that are opened from the inside. Please ring the buzzer to be granted access.

An accessible toilet is available on-site.

Travelling to the donor centre

You can find the donor centre on the site of Derriford Hospital.

Currently, ongoing building works means you have to walk through the main hospital entrance and take the lift or stairs to level 3 and follow signs back outside to 'donor centre'.

If you are travelling by:

• bus: the nearest station is Derriford Hospital, which is served by several bus routes.
• train: the nearest station is Plymouth station in the city centre, about a 40 minute bus journey away.
• bicycle: there is bike parking for donors around the hospital site that you able to use.
• car: there is free parking at the Derriford Hospital multi-storey car park, about a 10 minute walk from the donor centre.

The donor centre is open on weekdays, evenings and weekends, as follows:

• Monday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Tuesday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Wednesday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Thursday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Friday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Saturday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
• Sunday - 7:50am - 4:35pm
