Where to park
There is free parking for donors outside the donor centre.
Accessibility
The donor centre is fully wheelchair accessible with a ramp providing access at the rear entrance. Please let staff know if you need to use the ramp by using the buzzer the main entrance.

Travelling to the donor centre
You can find the donor centre in the city centre, near the Odeon cinema.
If you are travelling by:
- bus: the nearest stop is Humbert Street, which is a 5 minute walk away.
- train: Stoke station is about 30 minutes away by bus or walking.
- bicycle: there is bike parking located on the high street near the donor centre, but please be aware that this is not a secure bike parking facility.
- car: there is free parking for donors outside the donor centre.

Opening hours
The donor centre is open on weekdays, evenings and weekends, as follows:
- Monday - 11:30 am - 7:30pm
- Tuesday - 11:30 am - 7:30pm
- Wednesday - 10:30 am - 7:30pm
- Thursday - 10:30 am - 5:30pm
- Friday - 8:30am - 4:15pm
- Saturday - closed
- Sunday - closed

What you can donate
Blood
An appointment to give blood takes an hour, with the donation taking around 5-10 minutes.
Your blood could help someone in an emergency, help save the lives of mothers and babies during childbirth, or help to fight sickle cell.
Platelets
An appointment to give platelets takes around 2 hours, with the donation taking up to 90 minutes.
Your platelets could help someone combat cancer or recover from losing a lot of blood after an accident, organ transplant or surgery.
