Westfield Stratford City Donor Centre

You can donate blood and platelets at our donor centre inside the Westfield shopping centre, Stratford. If you need to speak to us, please call our donor helpline on 0300 123 23 23.

Update July 2025: we are temporarily pausing platelet donation at the centre due to high temperatures. If you're a platelet donor, please book an appointment at one of our other London donor centres.

Accessibility

You can get to the centre on the first floor using the shopping centre lifts. The building has level access for wheelchairs however the door isn't automatic but is often open. Please call ahead to left our staff know if you need wheelchair access.

Travelling to the donor centre

You can find the centre on the top floor, next to John Lewis.

If you are travelling by:

tube: Stratford station provides easy access to the donor centre, a few minutes walk away.
bus: the nearest bus stops are Stratford City, Stratford and Stratford International bus stations, which are all just a short walk away from the donor centre.
bike: secure bicycle parking spaces are provided by the shopping centre and can be found at car park A.
car: please park at car park A - this is a pay and display multi storey car park.

Westfield Stratford City is located outside central London, near to Stratford and next to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

There are a number of routes to the shopping centre.

The nearest main roads to the shopping centre are the A11 and A12.

Use postcodes E20 1EJ or E15 2EE to be directed to all car parks.

Car park A is the nearest to the donor centre - please note, this is a pay and display multi storey car park.

Opening hours

We are reducing the opening hours at Stratford Donor Centre this summer due to the higher temperatures in the centre, which can get very warm.

This summer, the donor centre is open on weekdays, evenings and weekends as follows:

Monday - 4:20pm to 8:40pm
Tuesday - 4:20pm to 8:40pm
Wednesday - 4:20pm to 8:40pm
Thursday - 3:20pm to 7:40pm
Friday - 8:20am to 12:40pm
Saturday - 8:20am to 12:40pm
Sunday - 8:20am to 12:40pm

Please note, these hours may be different on bank holidays and may be subject to change.
