We want your donation to be a pleasant experience.
If this is your first blood, platelets or plasma donation, please read the donor consent information carefully. It explains the donation process, the importance of our health check questions for safety and the potential side effects of donating blood, platelets or plasma.
It’s important to read the whole of the donor consent information (booklet) whenever you attend because the advice does change, even if you donated recently or it has been a while since you donated blood.
Remember to bring your completed donor safety check form with you, if you received one from us in the post.
